Black Friday vs. Cyber Monday

Are you planning to shop online during the next 10 days? I will be definitely doing it and I am already taking the right steps to make that happen. I even took a day off from work next Monday just to be able to stay at home and shop online safely from the convenience of my own PC.

For me, Black Fridays and Cyber Mondays have always been a huge deal. Every year I restrain myself from shopping online until the Cyber Monday. Sometimes it is easier said than done, but it generally works for me.

While many people choose to shop during Black Friday to be able to see the items “in flesh”, I will be definitely staying at home this shopping season. This means that Black Friday won’t be an opportunity for me to get good deals, but Cyber Monday definitely will be. I simply don’t feel like getting up at 4am. on Friday to rush to a store that is already full of people. I also don’t want to risk getting injured especially now before Christmas. Around 100 injuries have been reported that were related to Black Friday since 2006. I am definitely not interested in any of this.

I will be happy to stay at home to do some shopping and I believe that there might be actually a lot more good deals online rather than offline. As a matter of fact, Amazon already started releasing their good deals on a daily basis and I have already managed to grab a few of them. I will keep observing them carefully to make sure that I am not going to miss out on anything important that I might need for my home or office.

Database Normalization – Why It Is Important

Database normalization can be defined as the process through which data is efficiently organized within a database and involves the management of attributes (columns) and relations (tables) of a relational database in an effort to lower the chances of data redundancy ever occuring.
