Creating Space for Working from Home

Working from home can be a wonderful experience provided that you know how to separate work from pleasure. Staying focus is key to productivity, so spending your time close to the fridge or your mobile phone can prove to be detrimental to your day. After all, you need to make the most of it so that at the end of the day you are proud of what you have accomplished. Here are some tips to make that happen:

1. Choose a proper space that won’t compromise your productivity. Stay away from all possible distractions. Choosing a place that is bright is key as well. You will want to get as much natural light as possible to keep you motivated to work for as long as possible. Don’t hesitate to open your window as well as even a little breeze of fresh air can allow you to stay awake for the rest of the day.

2. Stay organized. It is proven that cleaning your space can make you more relaxed so don’t miss out on the opportunity to feel better. It is best to clean your work space daily to remove all the things that have accumulated there such as dirty mugs or even the unnecessary paperwork that you might need for later.
