I am sure that you would all agree with me that in order to sell a product or service to somebody you need to have something that others want. What use does a product have if nobody in the world wants it?
In order to find what others want it is always best to ask them about it. Of course, if you want to start asking people randomly on the street you might soon discover that it is not worth your time. You will meet a group of random people who will at best want to talk to you for a few minutes. Ideally, you want your audience to be targeted and you want them to dedicate a sufficient amount of time to your questions. This is where agency market research comes in. Very often, you will not be in a position to conduct a research on your own, but you can always hire somebody who would be willing to do it for you. What is more, they will do it so diligently that you should be more than pleased with the results. If you are about to release a new product and you are not sure whether it is going to be accepted on the market, I suggest that you do it immediately.
